How to itemise Lolita and, more importantly, why each item earns its slot.

Overview

Why this build works on Lolita

Lolita excels at frontline crowd control and protecting teammates, but her effectiveness relies heavily on her durability and shield capacity. Her passive Noumenon Energy Core generates shields for herself and allies, while Guardian's Reflection blocks projectiles with a shield that scales directly with her extra health. This build focuses on maximizing her health pool and shield efficiency to turn her into an unkillable disrupter. By enhancing her ability to slow and stun with Power Charge and Noumenon Blast, she can confidently initiate teamfights at map objectives like the Turtle and Lord while keeping her team entirely safe from enemy ranged punishment.

Item by item

Warrior Boots - Encourage

Early

Provides early physical defense to survive lane aggression while boosting nearby allies through the Roam effect. The bonus movement speed allows Lolita to position quickly for Power Charge stuns and set up Noumenon Blast charges effectively during early skirmishes around the Turtle.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Passive - Encourage: Success

Synergizes perfectly with Power Charge. After dashing in with her first skill, her empowered basic attack triggers extra true damage and a heavy slow. The bonus extra health improves the damage absorption cap on Guardian's Reflection, enabling her to block and reflect more projectile damage.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Thunderbolt: After casting a skill, the next Basic Attack within 3s deals 50 plus 5% of the hero's extra HP as extra True Damage to the target and enemies around them and slows them by 40%-80% (scales with the hero's extra HP) for 1s (1.5s cooldown).

Oracle

Core

Essential for enhancing Noumenon Energy Core and her overall sustain. It boosts all shield generation and health regeneration she receives. This directly amplifies her passive shield output for herself and surrounding allies while making her active shields far more resilient during extended teamfights.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Bless: Received Shield and HP Regen effects are increased by 30%.

Dominance Ice

Situational

Suppresses physical threats by lowering the attack speed of nearby enemies. This creates vital space for Lolita to charge Noumenon Blast without being melted by continuous basic attacks, ensuring she can safely stand in the front line and bodyblock projectiles for her allies.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Arctic Cold: Reduces the Attack Speed of nearby enemy heroes to 70% of normal.

Protects Lolita against burst magic damage dealers who bypass Guardian's Reflection. By gaining magic damage reduction upon taking magic hits, she can absorb heavy spells while channeling Noumenon Blast or stepping forward to trigger Power Charge against enemy backlines.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Shield: Upon taking Magic Damage, gains 25% Magic Damage Reduction for 3s (applied before taking damage). Regains this effect 5s after leaving combat.

Provides a vital second life in late-game teamfights around the Lord. Upon revival, the temporary shield works alongside Noumenon Energy Core to give Lolita enough time to cast Power Charge or channel a full Noumenon Blast slam to turn the tide of battle.

In-game passive Unique Passive - Immortal: Revives 2.5s after death, gaining 16% Max HP and a 220-1200 shield (scales with level) that lasts 3s (210s cooldown).

Adapting the build

No build survives every draft. These are the situations where the order above should change.

Against heavy physical basic attackers

Prioritize building Dominance Ice earlier right after Thunder Belt. Reducing nearby enemy attack speed weakens marksmen before they can shred Guardian's Reflection, buying you crucial seconds to land Power Charge stuns and set up teamfight engages around major map objectives.

Against high burst magic mages

Swap the purchase order of Athena's Shield and Dominance Ice. Buying Athena's Shield earlier prevents enemy mages from bursting you down before you can fully channel Noumenon Blast, ensuring your crowd control remains reliable during team skirmishes.

Item recommendations come from the game's own hero data. The explanations are AI-generated from Lolita's ability kit and the items' in-game passives, and are checked automatically against the item list — they never introduce an item the game does not recommend for this hero.
